iSightCornwall is the first centre of resource for all in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who are affected by sight loss, whatever their age, circumstance or condition. Established in 1856, iSightCornwall supported Cornish miners many of whom lost their sight due to mining accidents and the hazardous working conditions of the time. 160 years on and the charity continues to support the visually impaired, helping over 4,000 people a year from its headquarters in Truro.
