They’ll be able to get their first dose of Pfizer at either vaccination centres at Stithians Showground, or Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
Royal Cornwall Hospitals chief pharmacist Iain Davidson said: “Vaccination is our way out of this pandemic, and getting our lives back to normal.
“We have an incredibly successful vaccination programme, and have so far put more than 700,000 doses of vaccine in people’s arms since December. Cases are rising in Cornwall, and we want to make it easier for people to protect themselves and their loved ones to get vaccinated. That’s why anyone who’s 18 and older and hasn’t yet had their first dose can just turn up to 1 of our vaccination centres in Stithians or Wadebridge and get their jab.
“There’s no need to book, just turn up any day from 9am to 6pm, get jabbed, and 20 minutes later can get on with their day. It’s simple, and stress-free, and brings us 1 step closer to getting back to normality.”
Anyone who is older than 40 and is waiting for their second jab can also bring forward their appointment from 12 to 8 weeks by calling 119 or using the national online booking service.
