2020/21 dates for Primary care commissioning committee meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Primary care networks are based on practice list sizes, naturally serving communities of around 30,000 to 50,000.
A primary care commissioning committee has been established in line with national guidance and regular chair’s reports will be supplied to the Governing Body for information.
In Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, we have 59 GP practices, organised into 14 primary care networks within 3 integrated care areas.
The work to improve health and care services in St Ives and Penwith continues. COVID has also required us to make some changes very quickly.
The north and east integrated care area (ICA) includes Bodmin, Port Isasc, Bude, the Rame Peninsula, Looe, Launceston and Saltash.
The central integrated care area includes the coastal cluster, Truro , Falmouth and Penryn, Newquay and mid Cornwall.
The west ICA includes St Ives, Marazion, Redruth, Pool, Camborne, Praze-an-Beeble, St Keverne, Mullion, Helston and the Isles of Scilly.
Children’s continuing care is an additional package of care to support parents or carers to meet their child’s health needs.
COVID-19 is understandably causing a lot of stress and anxiety, meaning that things may feel very uncertain right now.
